There is a pull off on the western side of the bridge and access to the Yellowstone River. This is a fun place to fish for native cutthroat trout. If you look carefully, you can see the remnants of the old road on the northeast side of the canyon where it dropped down before crossing the bridge that at one time was positioned lower as it crossed the river.
