This short .75 mile (1.2 km) loop or point-to-point boardwalk trail is wheelchair accessible and takes you down to the river and along a beautiful stretch where the river is wide, the water is shallow, and bordered with beautiful trees, many of which are new growth following the Yellowstone fires of 1988. A few benches along the way allow you to relax, take in the view, and maybe enjoy some time to ponder on the creation of this place called Yellowstone. A great hike for families with little children.
This Trail was mentioned in our article titled: "Best Places to Go and Things to do with Kids in Each of Yellowstone's 14 Road Sections"
