Located at Madison Junction, this campground provides 292 camp sites (Tent, RV, combo RV/tent and ADA compliant) including 3 group sites. The Madison River flows adjacent to the campground with many access routes to the river and the beautiful scenery of Madison Valley. Lots of trees provide good shade throughout the campground. Roads and parking sites are paved.

Amphitheater: The beautifully set amphitheater is accessible via a paved and lit trail at the eastern edge of the campground. The large viewing screen and stage of the amphitheater are backdropped with the valley where the Firestone and Gibbon Rivers flow together to form the Madison River, and the mountains of the Caldera Rim to the south provide a beautiful setting for the nightly programs.
Available for purchase: Ice (block or cubed), firewood bundles, and vending machine items.
Madison Campground requires a “reservation”. Call (307-344-7311) to make your reservations.

Select Regulations:
*Quiet hours 10:00pm to 6:00am (generators prohibited from 8:00pm to 8:00am)
*The cutting or taking of standing wood is prohibited
*Wheeled vehicles must stay on pavement
*Properly store food, utensils, coolers, and any item with an odor in vehicles or bear boxes
*No bicycles allowed off the pavement or on trails
*Pets must be controlled at all times, may not be more than 100 feet from the roads or parking areas, are not allowed on trails, and must be picked up after
*Washing dishes, clothing, or brushing teeth at outside campground spigots is prohibited
*Use of rollerblades, skateboards, or scooters is prohibited
*Keep a clean campsite. All trash and litter must be disposed of in the bear-proof dumpsters
