This picnic area is located less than ½ mile downstream from Gibbon Falls off from the main road and next to the river. It has 7 picnic tables, 5 of which are positioned near a 30-foot steep embankment to the river below and could be precarious for small children. There is a trail down to the river at the northern end of the parking lot near the single restroom, trash dumpster, and recyclable canisters.
