Beginning at a large pull off, the trail begins a steady climb of 700 feet over the 1.7-mile distance to the top (3.4-mile round trip), which is basically the former site of a lookout tower. Views are limited along the way and non-existent at the top, due to the absence of the lookout tower and the growth of trees. Not a lot of beauty or scenic features with this trail.
